Creating and editing frames in Dreamweaver
Before creating the frameset or working with our frameset, make the frame borders visible in Design view by choosing View >Visual Aids > show Frame Borders.

To create the frameset:
Choose a divideding item (such as divided Frame Left or divided Frame Right) from the Modify > Frameset submenu.

The window is divided into frames, and the file you started with appears in one of the frames.

To divided a frame into smaller frames, do one of the following:
To divided the frame where the insertion point is, choose a dividing item from the Modify > Frameset submenu.
To divided a frame or set of frames vertically or horizontally, drag a frame border from the edge of the Design view into the middle of the Design view.
To divided a frame using a frame border that isn’t at the edge of the Design view, Alt-drag a frame border.
To divide a frame into 4 sections, drag a border from one of the corners of the Design view into the middle.

To delete a frame:
Drag a frame border off the page.

If there’s unsaved content in a document in a frame that’s being removed, you are prompted to save the document
